Masahiro Katoh

Professor, Faculty of Human Studies, Meijo University. Specializes in modern British and Scottish history and cultural studies. Holds a PhD in Literature at Ritsumeikan University and MSc in Media Research at University of Stirling. Supervises undergraduate theses on popular culture research in university seminars.

Began podcasting as an independent creator in 2008 following studies in Scotland. Since 2021, has integrated audio content production into university seminars. Launched a new program in 2025, “Mobbpop,” focusing on the intersection of entertainment and learning.
